Grotesque Misalignment’s Blood Nexus represents a new chapter in the growing legacy of Syrup Moose Records. This baby is a multi-media, multi-format epic piece of death prog and you are going to want to get on board with it as soon as possible. This EP is only a single track, but the single track is not the entirety of it. In fact, the track is part 2 of the story of the Black Gate saga, part one is found in the first ever work of fiction published by Syrup Moose Records. That’s right gang, we’re doing a fucking book too. Not only is it a book, it’s a choose your own adventure story, that tells the first half of the story, a story picked up by the EP, and who knows how it will be finished?
How about the album art? That piece has been generously provided to us by the truly exceptional Luke Oram. Just look at it. God damn.
The book will written by Grotesque Misalignment, with design and layout done by yours truly. All of the art within the book is public domain, so some creative choices were made.
